During lockdown we have had to contain ourselves, confined to home for protection, to feel safe and secure. Our links to the outside world are virtual, tangible reminders arrive in the form of deliveries. These are contained in boxes, bags, envelopes and parcels.They too are enclosed, confined and protected by ingenious packaging to keep them safe in transit.

TOTEMS with their layered and stacked forms are a way of celebrating the form, function and aesthetic qualities of these humble but versatile materials. Emblematic of a group or shared state of being they also reflect our adapted lives. Deliveries for home-working, food, clothes, DIY and novelties for bored brains.
